Kansas City Royals 9, Oakland Athletics 8 (12 innings)

In a one-game playoff last night, the Royals came back to beat Oakland, 9-8. They trailed 7-3 in the 8^th inning after two Brandon Moss home runs. They chipped away to tie the game in the 9^th, and although Oakland took an 8-7 lead in the top of the 12^th, Salvador Perez snuck a base hit down the third base line to bring home the winning run.
