Colts lost Rodgers/ Landry, gain Mathis
The Colts have lost two of their roster members for different reasons yesterday. Wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers was arrested early Monday morning on a DUI charge on the IUPUI campus. The Colts have already cut the wideout. The Colts were also made aware that starting safety LaRon Landry has been suspended for the next four games for violating the NFL’s policy on Performance Enhancing Drugs.
Although hurt for the year, Robert Mathis is now allowed to return to the Colts facility and continue to work out with the team. His four-game suspension has been served, and he can continue rehab with the rest of his teammates.

MLB
Oakland Athletics vs. Kansas City Royals, 8:00 PM
The first of two one-game wild card games is set for Tuesday night, as the AL wildcards take the field in Kansas City. Oakland will send 16-game winner Jon Lester to the bump against KC’s James Shields. Baseball is a game normally played in series, so the unpredictability of a one-game playoff is fascinating.
